A user on NYfirearms.com was fed up with having his sign taken down. The sign advocated the repeal of the NY SAFE Act, which was one of the strictest gun laws to date and a major infringement on 2nd amendment rights.
After having his sign taken for the 4th or 5th time he decided to set up a trail cam or a deer cam to try to catch the thief in the act, and so he could report it to the authorities. Much to his surprise this is what he found.
So those of you that really know me, know that I more than support our 2nd amendment. Now I would like to clarify some things for those who make ignorant statements regarding loop holes at gun shows, lax gun laws etc.
1st In order to purchase a firearm at a licensed dealer you would be asked for the proper identification anywhere from a state issued ID (required for all purchases regardless of state) up to and including a state issued permit to own a firearm depending on the state. Then after showing proper ID and selecting a firearm you will be asked to fill out ATF form 4473 which is required by anyone wishing to purchase a firearm from a licensed dealer. This form will ask you a series of questions related to state of residence place of birth etc.
At one time, I viewed Obama as indolent and slothful. I used to say, "If Adolph Hitler had been as lazy as Barack Obama, the 1940's would have been a pretty nice decade."
But observation has proven my premise wrong. Obama is not lazy, not in the slightest. In fact, the mental image Obama most evokes is mad jackrabbit on crack. He may go on numerous vacations, and play countless rounds of golf, but he is an extremely busy and very involved President. It is what he is busy on and involved in that is the problem:

I don’t read the NY TImes, but heard about your op-ed, that at the end slapped America for claiming it’s American exceptionalism. Mr. Putin, having been raised under Communism and taught citizenship by the school of the KGB, you wrongly believe that exceptionalism means that America believes itself better or superior, which could not be more wrong.
White House fireworks have been raining sparks on the land of the free for months. Citizens wonder today whether our liberty bell still rings and where this President stands? How much freedom is left to be celebrated? We have watched this administration and its Justice Department attack the 1st Amendment. We have watched the IRS discriminate against the groups who have voiced opposition to the President and his “democratic” party. We have watched our President spend money as if there were no tomorrow. We have heard the President claim repeatedly to have the backs of our heroes in the military, but his actions have betrayed his promises. As this President spends our money freely, he leaves our military behind.
Catherine Engelbrecht’s tale has all the markings of a classic conspiracy theory: She says she thinks that because of her peaceful political activity, she and her family was targeted for scrutiny by hostile federal agencies.
Yet as news emerges that the Internal Revenue Service wielded its power to obstruct conservative groups, Catherine’s story becomes credible — and chilling. It also raises questions about whether other federal agencies have used their executive powers to target those deemed political enemies.
Orlando, Florida – Five facilities belonging to a notorious abortionist in Florida are being seized by attorneys in the state after payment exceeding $36 million dollars was not received surrounding a botched abortion case.

Honorable Ladies and Gentlemen:
The Albany Police Officers Union condemns and opposes the New York Secure Ammunition and Firearms Enforcement Act (the SAFE Act). Substantively, we believe that it violates fundamental constitutional rights, that it is unduly and purposely burdensome on law-abiding citizens, and” that it will not deter criminals or menially ill individuals from plotting and carrying out bloodshed and violence. Procedurally, we believe that the way in which the bill was rammed into law via an unjustified and expedient “message of necessity”, which circumvents the right and the ability of the citizens of this State to voice their concerns about the bill and have them addressed, is an outrage. This flawed law and the way in which it was rushed and passed, shows the apparent contempt that those who govern have for the governed, and calls into question whether we truly have a representational government. Morally, we believe that this law is about ideology and politics and not about making anyone any safer. We respectfully demand that you do the right thing and repeal the law.
SYRACUSE, NY (WSYR-TV) - Nationally known gun advocate Sheriff Mack was in Syracuse on Saturday to lead a rally calling for the repeal of New York’s Safe Act.
A former Graham County sheriff in Arizona, Richard Mack’s appearance drew 1,500 pro-gun enthusiasts to the Inner Harbor.
