Paladino: Cuomo Got Nasty First

Continuing his tour of the national media programs, Carl Paladino claims he’s left “gutter politics” to focus on the issues.

Today host Matt Lauer challenged the GOP candidate for governor during an interview this morning, asking how he can practice the so-called gutter politics and “all of a sudden say ‘that’s not me anymore?’”

“That was reaction,” said Paladino. “The gutter politics came from Cuomo and his surrogates. They came out relentlessly after primary day and attacked, attacked, attacked.”
