Show Your Support for Marriage - Attend a Rally Near You!
On June 24th, Governor Cuomo and 33 state Senators made a horribly-flawed decision impacting millions of New Yorkers when they imposed same-sex marriage with no vote of the people. The actions of these legislators and the Governor not only betrayed the trust of those who elected them, but also outraged masses of people - the silent majority - whose voice and vote was not heard! Voters in 31 other states have been able to decide the definition of marriage for their states, but New Yorkers have been denied that right!
Marriage is the Foundation of Society
God is the author of marriage. Marriage unites men and women and provides the best opportunity for children to be raised by their mother and father. Children need both a mom and a dad!
If New York is going to change the definition of marriage, it should be the People and not the politicians who make the decision!
On Sunday, July 24th, at 3:00 PM join thousands of concerned citizens as they march for marriage in various cities of New York State and cry out for proper representation. We are a broad, multi-ethnic, multi-denomination coalition united to LET THE PEOPLE VOTE!

The gay marriage issue transcends fiscal and social issues. Everything about the law and the way it was passed is communistic/Marxist. There are protests in major cities in NY on Sunday July 24th (read below). This is a fight for representative government and/or a fight about moral convictions and a fight for American doctrine (this law will also cost taxpayers money and expand government). This is an issue that all people should be able to unite on. Patriots of all types must be able to find a part of this issue to become passionate about.
Please ask for donations from your members and buy advertising to gather people that may not be members of tea parties.
Please print flyers and distribute them everywhere.
Please send emails to all the people on everyone's lists.
Please ask Libous and other elected officials to join our effort.
Please reach out to people of other states to come and support this effort.
Please coordinate this with Gilda (mward9@stny.rr.com)
Let's make this a major turning point in our patriotic cause.
Let's force government to bring this to a vote of the people.
Let's make government know that "We the People" DEMAND they listen and act on our behave.
If our voice and efforts are loud and strong enough we WILL be able to influence elections and laws.
The July 24th protest should be considered the FIRST - not the only protest on this issue.
(Norwich Tea Party Patriots has secured a bus to the Albany Rally in West Capitol Park. There are also rallies in Buffalo, Rochester, and Manhattan.)
