WASHINGTON (AP) -- Child labor groups say they are stunned and disappointed that the Obama administration is backing off a plan to keep children from doing the most dangerous farm jobs.
Reid Maki, coordinator of the Child Labor Coalition, said the Labor Department's sudden decision late Thursday to withdraw the proposed rules means more children will die in farm accidents that could have been prevented.

More than 500 Catholic men recently walked a mile in the rain in Peoria, Illinois. Their mission was to show the community their willingness to defend their Catholic faith against the threats being posed by the new Obama mandate. Why? Because, as Peoria’s bishop Daniel R. SOUTH BEND, Indiana, April 23, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - After an IRS complaint from an secularist group and other criticism, Peoria Bishop Daniel Jenky is now facing a petition by Notre Dame faculty to have him removed from the Catholic university’s board of fellows.
The action comes in response to a strongly worded homily denouncing President Obama’s HHS mandate, in which the bishop said that in his attacks on freedom of religion the president “seems intent on following a similar path” as past totalitarian dictators such as Hitler and Stalin.

No one is seeking to outlaw contraception. Contraception is readily available across the country at a low cost. Many insurance plans already cover it, and for those whose plans do not, low-cost riders are often available. Access to contraception is not threatened. The question Americans face is whether or not the federal government has the power to force people to purchase a product which violates their consciences and the free exercise of their religion, contravening the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.

On Friday, March 23rd, about 500 energized people stood together in Goshen, N.Y. against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services mandate (part of Obamacare). This law forces religious institutions to provide services that directly contradict the teachings of their faith and strips away 1st Amendment rights.

The agency's decision comes after the Northern Arapaho Tribe in Wyoming filed a federal lawsuit last year contending the refusal to issue such permits violates tribal members' religious freedom. Although thousands of American Indians apply for eagle feathers and carcasses from a federal repository, permits allowing the killing of bald eagles are exceedingly rare, according to both tribal and legal experts on the matter.

Most recently, back in October, I found a tiny red welt on my right breast. WebMD told me that I almost definitely had inflammatory breast cancer–a particularly aggressive strain. I called my boyfriend in the middle of the night and made him talk to me until the sun came up, so scared I was shaking all over. I thought of nothing but my imaginary cancer for three full days, until the red spot went away. My friend Destiny texted me regularly to ask how my cancer was doing. The decision would be a victory for environmentalists, many of whom oppose the pipeline, and a setback for TransCanada Corp, whose $7 billion Keystone XL project is seen as the most important North American oil pipeline plan for decades.

Catholics make up about a quarter of the American electorate and have backed the popular-vote winner in every presidential election since 1972. That track record continued through 2008: While weekly churchgoing Catholics slightly favored Sen. John McCain, Catholics as a whole backed President Barack Obama by a margin of 54 to 45 percent.
Given the role Catholics played in Obama's 2008 victory and their habit of picking presidential winners, you might think that an embattled president with a 40-percent approval rating would be working overtime to solidify his support among this crucial voting bloc. Instead, Obama seems intent on convincing Catholics that their faith in him was unwarranted.

Another hidden secret in Obamacare “RFID Chip Implants”
Angelbab's43blog
RFID Implant

Found this on Patriot Action Network the Author is Kimmy Kaye link at bottom of page thanks…….And now we come to it. On Sunday March 21, 2010 the Senate Healthcare bill HR3200 was passed and signed into law the following Tuesday. Like I said before, there are a legion of horrible and just plain evil aspects to this bill and I’m sure you’ve heard a lot them by now. I don’t want to discount them but what cannot be missed here is this new law now opens a prophetic door on a magnitude not seen since the reformation of Israel.
This new law requires an RFID chip implanted in all of us. This chip will not only contain your personal information with tracking capability but it will also be linked to your bank account. And get this, Page 1004 of the new law (dictating the timing of this chip), reads, and I quote: “Not later than 36 months after the date of the enactment”. It is now the law of the land that by March 23rd 2013 we will all be required to have an RFID chip underneath our skin and this chip will be link to our bank accounts as well as have our personal records and tracking capability built into it.

One of the biggest examples of government overreach under ObamaCare is one of the least talked about. Among many other intrusions into the market, the new national health care law imposes something called "medical loss ratio" requirements on insurance companies, which is a fancy way of saying that the government dictates to insurers the percentage of the premiums they collect that must be spent on medical care. Liberals argue that short of a fully government-run system, it's the only way to pressure insurers into allocating enough of their revenue toward providing medical care, rather than on marketing expenses and high executive salaries. Today, the Obama administration has come out with the actual regulations stemming from the law: 85 percent for large employers, and 80 percent for other policies.

Homeland Security head Janet Napolitano, now forever known as Big Sis – a reference to George Orwell’s 1984 – has been caught telling some big lies in an attempt to quell an enormous public backlash against the full body scanning technology and invasive pat-down procedures that have been implemented by the TSA in airports nationwide.

The Transportation Security Administration has opened an investigation targeting John Tyner, the Oceanside man who left Lindbergh Field under duress on Saturday morning after refusing to undertake a full body scan.
Tyner recorded the half-hour long encounter on his cell phone and later posted it to his personal blog, along with an extensive account of the incident. The blog went viral, attracting hundreds of thousands of readers and thousands of comments.
Michael J. Aguilar, chief of the TSA office in San Diego, called a news conference at the airport Monday afternoon to announce the probe. He said the investigation could lead to prosecution and civil penalties of up to $11,000.

Not wanting to go through them, I had done my research on the TSA's website prior to traveling to see if SAN had them. From all indications, they did not. When I arrived at the security line, I found that the TSA's website was out of date. SAN does in fact utilize backscatter x-ray machines.

We don’t know. But what we do know is that if you total up all of the new regulations already passed by the Obama administration last year, using their own cost estimates, fiscal 2010 saw the largest increase in regulatory burdens placed on the U.S. economy in the nation’s recorded regulatory history.

Amazingly, in that speech nearly 25 years ago, Reagan also summed up perfectly the Obama administration's view of the economy in the present. On Thursday, President Obama announced that the government is providing a loan guarantee of $250 million to Ford Motor Co. from the Export-Import Bank. In making the announcement, at a Ford assembly plant in Chicago, Obama also defended billions of dollars in TARP bailouts to Ford rivals, General Motors and Chrysler, that he continued from the Bush administration.

The controversy in regard to Obama's new regulatory rule lies on the issue of the "anti-prostitution loyalty oath." The oath was introduced by a conservative legislator in 2003 during the Bush administration. The anti-prostituiton loyalty oath requires the organizations receiving USAIDS through the U.S. President’s Emergency Plan for AIDS relief (PEPFAR) to formally and explicitly pledge their opposition to prostitution and sex trafficking. It also forbids any activities to "promote or support the legalization or practice of prostitution." Critics argued that the "anti-prostitution loyalty oath" contradicts U.S. Foreign policy promoting democratic values around the world because it prevents the organizations's free speech rights "to speak up on a controversial issue" such as legalization of prostitution. In support of their argument, the critics also pointed out the example of Brazilian government refusing to receive $40 million in U.S. funds to continue its programs working with and empowering sex workers and protect their health.

Each tax signals a radical change in policy. For workers, the extra 0.9% levy puts a progressive element in what used to be a totally flat tax. The 3.8% tax on investment income also knocks down a longstanding wall by applying a "payroll" tax to unearned income. Until now, FICA taxes for Social Security and Medicare have applied only to wages, not investment income.

Well, now that Obamacare has become (hopefully only temporarily) the law of the land, the CBO is singing a slightly different tune. Last Friday CBO Director Doug Elmendorf wrote on his blog:
The central challenge is straightforward and stark: The rising costs of health care will put tremendous pressure on the federal budget during the next few decades and beyond.
In CBO’s judgment, the health legislation enacted earlier this year does not substantially diminish that pressure. In fact, CBO estimated that the health legislation will increase the federal budgetary commitment to health care (which CBO defines as the sum of net federal outlays for health programs and tax preferences for health care) by nearly $400 billion during the 2010-2019 period. Looking further ahead, CBO estimated that the legislation would reduce the federal budgetary commitment to health care in the following decade—if the provisions of the legislation remain unchanged throughout that entire period.
And there is ample evidence that the CBO may be underestimating Obamacare’s true costs. Ethics and Public Policy Center Fellow James Capretta details:

American gun owners might not feel besieged, but they should. This week, the Obama administration announced its support for the United Nations Small Arms Treaty. This international agreement poses real risks for freedom both in the United States and around the world by making it more difficult - if not outright illegal - for law-abiding citizens to keep and bear arms.
The U.N. claims that guns used in armed conflicts cause 300,000 deaths worldwide every year, an inordinate number of which are the result of internal civil strife within individual nations. The solution proposed by transnationalists to keep rebels from getting guns is to make the global pool of weapons smaller through government action. According to recent deliberations regarding the treaty, signatory countries would be required to "prevent, combat and eradicate" various classes of guns to undermine "the illicit trade in small arms." Such a plan would necessarily lead to confiscation of personal firearms.

Governor Christie is inviting voters to consider a definition of “fairness” very different from President Obama’s.
At a New Jersey town meeting, Gov. Chris Christie, the newest YouTube star for the limited-government set, was reproached by an unhappy teacher. The governor, facing a budget shortfall of $11 billion, has proposed, among other economies, a one-year salary freeze for New Jersey teachers. Her voice raised in anger (that’s a normal speaking voice in my home state), Rita Wilson protested that she should be paid $83,000, the only reasonable compensation in light of her “education and experience.” Christie’s reply got an ovation: “Well, you know what? Then you don’t have to do it.”

WASHINGTON (AP) - The Obama administration on Friday urged the Supreme Court to prevent Arizona from enforcing a law that punishes businesses that employ illegal immigrants, arguing that federal immigration law trumps state efforts.
The administration's views, contained in a new filing at the high court, are similar to concerns President Barack Obama has expressed about a new Arizona law that cracks down on illegal immigrants.
When it takes effect July 29, the new law will require police enforcing any other law to examine immigration status if there is reasonable suspicion a person is in the country illegally.

If you’re a parent, you are probably too busy doing the day-to-day work of raising your children to worry about an international treaty that could actually undermine your authority over them.
But if you’ve ever insisted that your teenager drag himself out of bed on a Sunday morning to attend church with the family, or required him to find a part-time job to pay for the increase in your car insurance, or — heaven forbid — if you’ve ever spanked a young child for an act of willful disobedience, there are folks who would like to override your parental judgment.
Folks like President Obama, in fact.

House Minority Leader John Boehner recently accused the Obama Federal Communications Commission (FCC) of pursuing a "government takeover of the Internet."
Specifically, Boehner said that the FCC is engaging in an action that "amounts to a government takeover of the Internet, and yet another government takeover of a large portion of the private sector by the Obama administration."
The scheme amounts to an online “Fairness Doctrine” but it goes under another equally benign name: “network neutrality.”

President Obama on Wednesday took another shot at Arizona's new immigration law, saying even last-minute changes leave open the "possibility" of racial profiling, and urged Congress to pass an immigration legalization proposal drafted by Senate Democrats.
In a joint appearance in the Rose Garden, Mr. Obama and Mexican President Felipe Calderon offered little in the way of specific solutions to several thorny topics of discussion that ranged from the Arizona law to the violent smuggling of drugs and weapons across the border to ongoing trade disputes.
But in pointed remarks, Mr. Obama said he sympathized with Arizona's frustration over federal inaction on immigration but agreed with Mr. Calderon the state's new law could lead to discrimination. He also said Republicans are holding up efforts to reform immigration policies.

Despite the most creative rhetoric this side of ObamaCare, voters have figured out that "cap and trade" involves artificial carbon rationing and vast new energy taxes. So the main goal of John Kerry and Joe Lieberman has been attempting to disguise these truths in the climate bill they released to much fanfare last week.
The bill was nine months in gestation once it became clear that the version the House passed last summer—which one of five Democrats opposed—was doomed in the Senate. Yet no one should mistake Kerry-Lieberman for a new approach.

Attorney General Eric H. Holder Jr., who has been critical of Arizona's new immigration law, said Thursday he hasn't yet read the law and is going by what he's read in newspapers or seen on television.
Mr. Holder is conducting a review of the law, at President Obama's request, to see if the federal government should challenge it in court. He said he expects he will read the law by the time his staff briefs him on their conclusions.
"I've just expressed concerns on the basis of what I've heard about the law. But I'm not in a position to say at this point, not having read the law, not having had the chance to interact with people are doing the review, exactly what my position is," Mr. Holder told the House Judiciary Committee.

1. Metaphysical Egalitarianism
The foundation of the socialist ideology is metaphysical egalitarianism. This means that the idea of absolute equality is the fundamental assumption of the socialist view of man, society and the universe. Well, the nation’s post-passage Obamacare education continued yesterday when the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) confirmed that the federal government will have to spend an additional $115 billion implementing the law, bringing the total estimated cost to over $1 trillion. The estimate had been requested before passage of the bill by Rep. "There is no reason to believe that in the face of statutory ambiguity, the meaning of federal law should be settled by the inclinations and predispositions of federal judges.
