Shame on the Orange County Board of Elections for not sending the usual post card reminders and for not placing “voting” location signs along the entrance to the school.
Shame on The Photo News for not reporting the Republican primary date in their paper.
Shame on Pine Tree Elementary School for blocking the driveway entrance to the polling station, making it arduous to park.

This month marked 2 years since Obamacare was signed into law, against the will of the American people.
On Friday, March 23rd, about 500 energized people stood together in Goshen, N.Y. against the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services mandate (part of Obamacare). This law forces religious institutions to provide services that directly contradict the teachings of their faith and strips away 1st Amendment rights.

On Friday, July 22, 2011, at 2 PM, the Village of Monroe Board of Trustees unanimously adopted a bond resolution of $1.7 million for the construction of a new Department of Public Works facility. Mayor James Purcell was also present.
No public forum or debate was held and few residents actually knew about the plan.
Wow! It’s really flattering that radio talk-show host Thom Hartmann is attributing the Concord Project with the Tea Party taking over the GOP. The fact is, though, the GOP is still filled with those who would compromise the Constitution and bankrupt our country. Taking over the GOP has barely begun and, more importantly, the Tea Party (and other conservative activists) taking over the GOP involves many more people, groups, and organizations than the Concord Project.

On July 12, 2011 4 brave individuals filed a lawsuit against the NY Board Of Elections, NY Republican, & NY Democratic Parties.
An injunction was filed on the same day which required all 62 counties in the state of NY to accept Petitions with the Committeeman title. The lawsuit and injunction could not have come at a better time. For example, on July 13 several Monroe Tea Party folks were denied their petitions because they had the “wrong title and the positions were already filled” according to Orange County Board of Elections Commissioners.

The first hearing is scheduled for July 20th which looks to be interesting.
The first Monroe Tea Party meeting was a huge success!
