In order to protect our religious liberties from unwarranted and unprecedented government intrusion, the Archdiocese of New York has filed suit in federal court today seeking to block the recent Health and Human Services mandate that unconstitutionally attempts to define the nature of the Church’s religious ministry and would force religious employers to violate their consciences. The Diocese of Rockville Centre has joined in the lawsuit.

Throughout his short life, young Cody Green had admired the bravery of the U.S. Marines.
But after years spent battling leukaemia, it was the youngster's courage fighting cancer which inspired his heroes to honour his bravery.
The 12-year-old from Indiana had suffered from the disease throughout his life. First diagnosed just before his second birthday, he had beaten leukaemia three times - but the chemotherapy had reduced his immune system and, last weekend, he died from a fungus which attacked his brain.

SOUTH BEND, Indiana, April 23, 2012 (LifeSiteNews.com) - After an IRS complaint from an secularist group and other criticism, Peoria Bishop Daniel Jenky is now facing a petition by Notre Dame faculty to have him removed from the Catholic university’s board of fellows.
The action comes in response to a strongly worded homily denouncing President Obama’s HHS mandate, in which the bishop said that in his attacks on freedom of religion the president “seems intent on following a similar path” as past totalitarian dictators such as Hitler and Stalin.

RUSH: Claire McCaskill, a Senatorette from my home state of Missouri, says, "Let's try national health care first, let's just see." Try it. "During a stop in Springfield this week, Missouri Senator Claire McCaskill said people need to try President Obama's national health care plan before they knock it. She says it hasn't been put in place yet, people are pretty sure they don't like it, but once they do she goes on to say they will be reminded why health care was reformed in this country. McCaskill says the cases of wrestling with health insurance companies will be gone and people won't have to worry if their employer is going to drop coverage because its too expensive." (imitating McCaskill) "And if you don't have it you'll have to buy it, and if you don't buy it you'll get fined. You should try this; you'll like it."

(CBS News) In the escalating battle between the administration and the judiciary, a federal appeals court apparently is calling the president's bluff -- ordering the Justice Department to answer by Thursday whether the Obama Administration believes that the courts have the right to strike down a federal law, according to a lawyer who was in the courtroom.
The order, by a three-judge panel of the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 5th Circuit, appears to be in direct response to the president's comments yesterday about the Supreme Court's review of the health care law. Mr. Obama all but threw down the gauntlet with the justices, saying he was "confident" the Court would not "take what would be an unprecedented, extraordinary step of overturning a law that was passed by a strong majority of a democratically elected Congress."

No one is seeking to outlaw contraception. Contraception is readily available across the country at a low cost. Many insurance plans already cover it, and for those whose plans do not, low-cost riders are often available. Access to contraception is not threatened. The question Americans face is whether or not the federal government has the power to force people to purchase a product which violates their consciences and the free exercise of their religion, contravening the First Amendment of the United States Constitution.

A trove of just-released internal Obama Administration documents reveals that the President's top health care advisors were fully aware that a key component of ObamaCare presented a massive taxpayer bailout risk, but they chose to suppress the information in their frenzy to push the controversial legislation through Congress.
The documents, quoted extensively in a report released yesterday by the House Energy & Commerce Committee, reveal a shocking level of cynicism by the President's team -- cynicism that will cost Americans hundreds of billions unless the unpopular ObamaCare law is repealed.

Another hidden secret in Obamacare “RFID Chip Implants”
Angelbab's43blog
RFID Implant

Found this on Patriot Action Network the Author is Kimmy Kaye link at bottom of page thanks…….And now we come to it. On Sunday March 21, 2010 the Senate Healthcare bill HR3200 was passed and signed into law the following Tuesday. Like I said before, there are a legion of horrible and just plain evil aspects to this bill and I’m sure you’ve heard a lot them by now. I don’t want to discount them but what cannot be missed here is this new law now opens a prophetic door on a magnitude not seen since the reformation of Israel.
This new law requires an RFID chip implanted in all of us. This chip will not only contain your personal information with tracking capability but it will also be linked to your bank account. And get this, Page 1004 of the new law (dictating the timing of this chip), reads, and I quote: “Not later than 36 months after the date of the enactment”. It is now the law of the land that by March 23rd 2013 we will all be required to have an RFID chip underneath our skin and this chip will be link to our bank accounts as well as have our personal records and tracking capability built into it.

If I Were President: Obamacare, One Year In

The Corner
If I were president, on Day One I would issue an executive order paving the way for Obamacare waivers to all 50 states. The executive order would direct the Secretary of Health and Human Services and all relevant federal officials to return the maximum possible authority to the states to innovate and design health-care solutions that work best for them.
As I have stated time and again, a one-size-fits-all national plan that raises taxes is simply not the answer. Under our federalist system, the states are “laboratories of democracy.” They should be free to experiment. By the way, what works in one state may not be the answer for another. Of course, the ultimate goal is to repeal Obamacare and replace it with free-market reforms that promote competition and lower health-care costs. But since an outright repeal would take time, an executive order is the first step in returning power to the states.

Obamacare a ‘Platform’ for Socialized Medicine — Rep. Conyers Makes Startling Admission
The Blaze

AP File PhotoHouse Judiciary Committe
In a few moments of candor on Monday, Democratic Rep. John Conyers (MI) admitted Obamacare is just a “platform,” or a step, toward an eventual government takeover of health care:
Conyers made the revelation to CNS News reporter Nicholas Ballasy:
“What we’re trying to do is insure everybody, right? We’re trying to insure more people, not less and so it’s my feeling that the rising costs that are going on will not be solved by getting rid of people’s health insurance–that throws them into emergency rooms and charity and other things. That’s why HR 676 is our ultimate solution–is that everybody’s insured from birth on and that’s what we’re still fighting for.”
CNSNews.com then asked Conyers, “Do you see a single-payer health care system ultimately in the United States?”
“Of course,” he said. “Universal health care–well, every industrial country on the planet already has a universal system of health care.”
When asked if he thinks President Obama’s health-care law will lead to a single-payer health-care system in the U.S., Conyers said: “Well it’s a platform. I don’t think they flow smoothly but without that, if we didn’t have this then health care, universal health care would be an even more difficult legislative objective,” he said.
“Remind me again about the Politifact ‘biggest lie’ of 2010,” Hot Air’s Ed Morrissey writes, referring to the political fact-check site that cried foul over the phrase “A government takeover of health care.”

Among many other intrusions into the market, the new national health care law imposes something called "medical loss ratio" requirements on insurance companies, which is a fancy way of saying that the government dictates to insurers the percentage of the premiums they collect that must be spent on medical care. Today, the Obama administration has come out with the actual regulations stemming from the law: 85 percent for large employers, and 80 percent for other policies.

Applications for waivers from annual limit requirements are reviewed on a case by case basis by Department officials who look at a series of factors including whether or not a premium increase is large or if a significant number of enrollees would lose access to their current plan because the coverage would not be offered in the absence of a waiver. More detailed information on specific criteria can be found at: http://www.hhs.gov/ociio/regulations/11-05-2010annual_limits_waiver_bulletin.pdf. Obamacare at six months.
During the long national debate over the future of American health care, President Obama frequently chastised his opponents for launching exaggerated attacks on his plan for “reform.” He took particular exception to the criticism that the changes he was pushing amounted to a government takeover of the whole health sector. He knew full well that this kind of criticism might derail the entire effort in Congress, because most Americans recoil at the thought of a distant and bureaucratic federal government running the health-care system for everyone. So Obama vigorously denied that his program would lead to any such thing. In his Aug. 8, 2009, radio address, he described the “takeover” accusation as “outlandish” and characterized his approach as a mainstream and moderate attempt simply to reform the nation’s private health-insurance system.

Are you serious?” Speaker Pelosi then dismissed the question and moved on to the next reporter.
This exchange illustrates the way “yes we can” liberals treat the Constitution: They simply ignore it when it gets in the way of their big-government bailouts and takeovers.
Democrats have always been the “party of go,” bent on transforming America with their “living Constitution,” which changes to suit the political whims of the day. That’s why Republicans shouldn’t flinch when they are criticized as being the “party of no.” Saying no is necessary to uphold the freedoms on which our nation was founded.

Remember how President Barack Obama promised that his health care plan would reduce the deficit and put us on a path towards fiscal responsibility? Remember how Congress kept gaming the system to come up with the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) score that could justify those claims? Well, now that Obamacare has become (hopefully only temporarily) the law of the land, the CBO is singing a slightly different tune. Last Friday CBO Director Doug Elmendorf wrote on his blog:
The central challenge is straightforward and stark: The rising costs of health care will put tremendous pressure on the federal budget during the next few decades and beyond.
In CBO’s judgment, the health legislation enacted earlier this year does not substantially diminish that pressure. In fact, CBO estimated that the health legislation will increase the federal budgetary commitment to health care (which CBO defines as the sum of net federal outlays for health programs and tax preferences for health care) by nearly $400 billion during the 2010-2019 period. Looking further ahead, CBO estimated that the legislation would reduce the federal budgetary commitment to health care in the following decade—if the provisions of the legislation remain unchanged throughout that entire period.
And there is ample evidence that the CBO may be underestimating Obamacare’s true costs. Ethics and Public Policy Center Fellow James Capretta details:
Why is it that we at citizens4freedom are not surprised by any of this? You don't have to be a rocket scientist to understand. ~ C4F

Support for repeal of the new national health care plan has jumped to its highest level ever. A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 63% of U.S. voters now favor repeal of the plan passed by congressional Democrats and signed into law by President Obama in March.
Prior to today, weekly polling had shown support for repeal ranging from 54% to 58%.

Pressure is intensifying on newly independent Florida Gov. Charlie Crist to either sign or veto a controversial 11th-hour bill passed by the Legislature that opponents argue makes it more difficult for women seeking abortions.
On Thursday, Planned Parenthood launched a statewide campaign opposing the bill with rallies in four Florida cities –Orlando, St. Petersburg, Tallahassee and West Palm Beach.

In a move orchestrated to protect its abortion income, Planned Parenthood set off rallies in 4 Florida cities to protest the recent passage of legislation that would require abortion facilities to show a sonogram to mothers seeking abortion, and to listen to a physician describe the stages of fetal development. Because PP realizes that seeing and hearing about the humanity of her child is the surest way to stop a woman from having an abortion, PP is demanding Governor Charlie Crist veto the legislation.

The new healthcare law will pack 32 million newly insured people into emergency rooms already crammed beyond capacity, according to experts on healthcare facilities.
A chief aim of the new healthcare law was to take the pressure off emergency rooms by mandating that people either have insurance coverage. The idea was that if people have insurance, they will go to a doctor rather than putting off care until they faced an emergency. People who build hospitals, however, say newly insured people will still go to emergency rooms for primary care because they don’t have a doctor.

“We Have to Pass the Bill So That You Can Find Out What Is In It”
Remember that line by Speaker Pelosi… It will come back to haunt you repeatedly in the days ahead.
Now that it’s been a few weeks since Democrats rammed Obamacare through Congress we are getting a glimpse of what we can expect. Not only does the law initiate the first federal sales tax in the United States (on tanning) but it also taxes all Americans (and illegals) 3.8% when they sell their home.
The Spokesman Review reported:

“We have to pass the bill so that you can find out what is in it,” Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) told us just weeks before Congress passed President Barack Obama’s health care plan. Well, the nation’s post-passage Obamacare education continued yesterday when the Congressional Budget Office (CBO) confirmed that the federal government will have to spend an additional $115 billion implementing the law, bringing the total estimated cost to over $1 trillion. The estimate had been requested before passage of the bill by Rep. Jerry Lewis (R-CA), but the CBO was too overwhelmed with the Democrats’ other constant revisions to the law to get back to Lewis before the final vote.

Well, I have done it! I have read the entire text of proposed House Bill 3200: The Affordable Health Care Choices Act of 2009 I studied it with particular emphasis from my area of expertise, constitutional law. I was frankly concerned that parts of the proposed law that were being discussed might be unconstitutional. What I found was far worse than what I had heard or expected.
To begin with, much of what has been said about the law and its implications is in fact true, despite what the Democrats and the media are saying. The law does provide for rationing of health care, particularly where senior citizens and other classes of citizens are involved, free health care for illegal immigrants, free abortion services, and probably forced participation in abortions by members of the medical profession.

I know that we have had our troubles in the past, but for the best part of 200 years the United States, and the United Kingdom have been friend—friends with benefits. Those benefits being the special relationship, and as we celebrate 20 years since the fall of the Berlin Wall, we can all realize what the world would have been like had our two nations not been such close allies—if Margaret Thatcher and Ronald Reagan had not stood shoulder-to-shoulder against the Red Menace. It would have been pretty bad, to put it mildly.

Sen. Jim DeMint (R.-S.C.) said last week that President Barack Obama is “just trying to use the mainstream media to confuse the American people. The fact is I think he thinks Americans are stupid, and he’s going to play this out until he gets a headline in every paper that Republicans are obstructionist.” DeMint was referring to the President’s claims that Republicans were obstructing a deal on the Senate’s so-called financial reform bill. Americans are smart and they support the efforts of conservatives in Congress to obstruct the bill, which would give Washington permanent bailout authority over Wall Street.

Most people know about the individual mandate in the new health care bill, but the bill contained another mandate that could be far more costly.
A few wording changes to the tax code’s section 6041 regarding 1099 reporting were slipped into the 2000-page health legislation. The changes will force millions of businesses to issue hundreds of millions, perhaps billions, of additional IRS Form 1099s every year. It appears to be a costly, anti-business nightmare.

The trillion-dollar healthcare overhaul passed last month was a step in the wrong direction for this country, plain and simple. It is absolutely imperative we repeal this monstrosity of a bill in favor of legislation that expands free market principles, enhances consumer-based decisions and, most importantly, recognizes our liberties. Within hours of the final vote on ObamaCare, I went straight to work drafting a repeal bill, and it couldn’t be easier to understand — only 41 words to get rid of 2,000 pages of legalese, loopholes and massive liabilities.
