PALADINO FOR TAX PAYER RELIEF
Tax Payers – Fight for Tax Relief

The Tax Payers Of New York Have Had Enough

PRESS RELEASE:
FROM CARL P. PALADINO
MARCH 18, 2011  REV #3
RE:  OPEN MEMO TO DEAN SKELOS

Dean, you are no longer just the Senate Majority Leader.  You are the taxpayer’s “opposition” to the Cuomo/Silver cabal charged, as an experienced warrior negotiating from power, to attack the status quo.  Below is a link to your interview with Liz Benjamin last week.  It was not inspiring.
The taxpayers want jobs and big cuts in spending and taxes, which will help job retention and growth.  They don’t care about getting a budget by April 1.  The people struggled to give you a Senate majority.   If the Senate doesn't change the status quo now, it won’t get another chance and we will lose it in 2012.
The $10 billion concocted deficit was actually more like $3 billion.  With the bar on expected achievements [devoid of real tax cuts] set so low by the press and without any significant or organized opposition coming from any source and especially the Senate, Cuomo has created the perfect setting where he can’t lose.  With a little smoke and mirrors and an easy buy in by the Senate he will resolve the deficit and be a hero for not raising taxes.  The taxpayer will get the status quo and more agony.  The tail is wagging the dog.  You said to Liz that the Senate budget knocked a few bucks off of Cuomo's budget and you appear to want to call it a day.

(WBEN)  Carl Paladino, the first Western New York candidate for governor in over 50 years, has been selected as WBEN's Person of the year for 2010.

In more than a week of online voting, WBEN.com readers gave Paladino, an anti-establshment Tea Party favorite, more than three times the vote of runner up Chris Collins, the Erie County executive.

Carl thinks Liz should have been tougher on Cuomo, and goes all George Orwell on her:

Brighton, N.Y. --- In the last two weeks alone various polls have showed Republican Gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino trailing Democrat Andrew Cuomo by as many as 37 points and as few as 13 points.  But how the race for New York Governor pans out is anyone’s guess and this year, perhaps more than any other, is one in which polls never appear to tell the real story.

We had some fun this morning greeting Carl Paladino in Goshen NY.  Carl arrived around 10:30am this morning at the GOP HQ on Main Street in Goshen.   A few of us came out in support of Carl.  Let's see Linda and Edward D., Robert S. and his little cutie, Stacy C., Sandra V.,  Joseph C. and the Maney family.     Oh!  Rally is in my blood.  I took to the street to try to rally some people over to meet Carl.  John and my son Patrick decided to do some news.  They joined in with the group of media and took photos of Carl and also took part in the press conference.  When the media kept hammering Carl about his military service John decided to ask Carl a question and with that question the interview took on a new life.  But if you watched the lame stream media you wouldn't think so.  They are so one sided.   Well here is the interview in it entirety.   Please feel free to pass this press conference onto your friends and family.  Let's get Carl's message out to the people of NY.  We will have a higher quality version tomorrow.  Carl Paladino the next Governor of NY!

[For many years, Catherine Austin Fitts has written and spoken profusely about her experiences as Assistant Secretary of Housing and Urban Development (HUD). Perhaps the greatest lesson she learned there is that HUD was being run as a criminal enterprise, most likely financing a black budget and targeting American neighborhoods with narcotics trafficking and mortgage fraud. In this article, she discloses extremely disturbing facts about former HUD Secretary, Andrew Cuomo—how he came to power and the ways in which he and his associates may have benefited from 9/11. Even more disturbing is the fact that Cuomo is currently running for Attorney General of the State of New York, and doing so without investigation into the facts that this article discloses.

The New York Post sent a photographer to the Buffalo home where Carl Paladino's 10-year-old daughter lives with her mother. This photographer attempted to take photos of the child through the windows and subsequently attempted to follow the girl to a playground.

We believe this conduct puts Carl Paladino's daughter in harm's way, susceptible to kidnapping or sexual predators. This behavior by The New York Post and their senior political editor Fred Dicker is unacceptable. Endangering the safety of a 10-year-old child is repugnant.

Republican gubernatorial candidate Carl Paladino pledged to water down state mandates and cut business taxes in an address to New York business executives on Wednesday night.

Paladino addressed about 200 members of The Business Council of New York State Inc., a business lobby covering most of the major corporations in the state, at a conference in Bolton Landing.

Paladino disclosed new details of his economic agenda in his half-hour speech, likely the largest all-business gathering he’s had since starting his campaign.

We have our answer. Cuomo has chosen the base and attacked the Tea Party.

It is a decision that could undermine the reform rationale of his campaign. Where once he vowed to fix state finances and ethics, he now signals a willingness to retreat into the swamp that has brought New York to its knees.

Tea-party activist Rus Thompson plays key role in Paladino campaign.

He and Mr. Paladino, a multimillionaire real-estate developer, did have at least one thing in common: They had long been working to push aside elected officials whom they viewed as out of touch and responsible for high taxes and bad government.

Without Mr. Thompson's urging and his tea-party ties, it's unlikely that Mr. Paladino would have run for governor—let alone pulled off his upset win in the Republican primary against the more moderate, party-supported Rick Lazio.

While surrogates for Democratic gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo have unleashed a flood of criticism against his Republican opponent Carl Paladino -- who opposes abortion even in cases of rape or incest -- some of these organizations are also lining up behind Schneiderman in his race against Republican Dan Donovan.

But wait a minute: Aren't this year's elections all about jobs and fixing a broken state government? Certainly those topics are dominating the broader political discourse, especially at the top of the ticket and in legislative races.

NEW YORK — If politics is the art of compromise, no one told Carl Paladino.

The Republican gubernatorial candidate, who tapped into a wellspring of voter anger to grab an unexpected primary win two weeks ago, was very clear on what the next four years would look like if he wins.

In an interview Monday with The Associated Press, the real estate developer insisted he would limit himself to one four-year term and suggested that a little scorched earth probably wouldn't be so bad. When asked how he could work with politicians he's currently speaking out against, the 64-year-old made it clear he had no intention of doing so.

As US Secretary of Housing, Andrew Cuomo set Federal Housing Goals that required FannieMae and FreddieMac to purchase hundreds of millions of dollars of bad sub-prime mortgages.

IT WAS CUOMO who lowered lending standards.

IT WAS CUOMO who eliminated down payments.

IT WAS CUOMO who offered 105 percent financing.

IT WAS CUOMO who pushed sub-prime mortgages containing a two percent increase in interest rates, guaranteeing they would crash.

IT WAS CUOMO who cost taxpayers $2.4 trillion and the value of our 401k's when the sub-prime mortgage market collapsed.

As The Village Voice correctly reported in 2008: Cuomo "turned the Federal Housing Administration mortgage program into a sweetheart lender with sky-high loan ceilings and no money down, and he legalized what a federal judge has branded 'kickbacks' to brokers that have fueled the sale of overpriced and unsupportable loans. Three to four million families are now facing foreclosure, and Cuomo is one of the reasons why."

When the ultra-liberal Village Voice blames Cuomo for lighting the fuse on the sub-prime mortgage meltdown, even mainstream media reporters sit up and listen:

Cathy Paladino stroked the arm of the couch she was sitting on in her husband’s campaign headquarters, first in small circles, then larger ones, as if to assure the couch that both she and it would get through this just fine.

She was talking about her husband’s affair, a subject she was ready, if not eager, to address. Since her husband, Carl, won the Republican nomination for governor of New York last week, the only story in the race as compelling as his upset victory has been their personal back story: that her husband not only had an affair, not only fathered a child with that other woman, but also told his wife of 40 years about it all the same week that their 29-year-old son, Patrick, was killed in a car accident. He pulled her aside, Ms. Paladino said, as she was looking for family photographs to bring to the wake.

Cuomo sits here with his aides and says: What the hell do we do?  "'If a guy says you have no cojones, how do you punch him back...?'" What do we do?  Cuomo is sitting there, he's all ticked off. We got all this stuff on Paladino, and we're on the defensive?  Here's what you need to know.  It's still the lead story at Drudge.  Andrew Cuomo's weakness, and everybody in New York knows this -- little dirty secret here. Andrew Cuomo's weakness is that Democrats are afraid of him because of his history of being a hothead and a thug as a campaign manager for his dad, Mario.
