Urgent Issues Village of Monroe Petitions project Monroe Tea Party leader Michelle Hieronymi petitioned for "permissive referendum" on August 19, 2011 only to receive a letter of rejection on August 22, 2011. Pretty fast response for our local government. Please continue to follow this story. With Michelle's diligence in researching the necessary signatures for petition from the local town, village and the Board of Elections records and the officials affiliated with these government agency, Michelle was given the wrong information. Now was this intentional? One can only speculate. The Tea Party really has to shake up these local towns and villages. They don't understand that we don't have the money and we want them to stop the spending. If you recall the Monroe Tea Party and Citizens4Freedom petitioned for Committeeman only to be rejected.
